NIGHT OF THE GHOULS - Edward D. Wood Jr. - "Juveniles" (1959)

"Is this the major horror of our time?" Sirens and wild drumming accompany this stoic "Juveniles" narration while the kids go wild in the street. Back in the 50's, JD's were a big problem! What does it all have to do with this movie? About as much as anything else, and that is a fact! From the 1959 Ed Wood classic, "Night Of The Ghouls," this is "The Juveniles!"

THE DEVIL'S HAND - Allyn Ferguson/Manuel Francisco - "The Opening Credits" (1962)

It's Friday Night so it's time to rock and roll, and In our humble opinion, here's one of THE best songs ever to play during an opening credits sequence of any movie, period! A great surf type instrumental with sax, right in line with some of The Rumblers best grooves. This movie also had Tony Rock in it and the director was William Hole, the same guy that directed "Ghost Of Dragstrip Hollow." It's "The Devil's Hand" by Allyn Ferguson & Manuel Francisco. Allyn Ferguson went on to to compose music for a whole lot of TV shows, including 3 Monkees episodes, The Everly Brothers Show, Charlie's Angels, and a horde of TV movies in the 70's & 80's. By all means, go out and get yourself a copy of "The Devil's Hand!"

BLOOD THIRST - "She-Devil Dance" (1965)

Here's the deal! The Filipino club owner boss makes his Woman dance in his club every night. She really looks like some kind of blonde vampire, kind of like, if Ann Coulter had some meat on her stinking bones, and wasn't so damn ugly, but with the same vile & evil spirit! So picture that & listen to the haunting sounds of the music from this indescribable dance scene from "Blood Thirst. Note the applause at the end of the song to see how much the audience appreciated her performance. These people were hard up for entertainment for sure!

BIJO TO EKITAININGEN (The H-Man) - Masaru Satô - "At The Club" (1958)

You know there's a lot of people who ask us, Eegah!! & Tabonga!, why ARE you doing this? Are you insane?? And we must admit, we probably are, because nobody has really been asking us anything, it's just the voices and the music in our collective heads that we hear. So, while we're on the subject of insanity, here's another super hip jazz number from one of the "club" scenes in "The H-Man." Composed by Masaru Satô, this little tune is way too cool, and totally insane, once again with the twin saxes that just won't quit! Killer!! just wish it was a lot longer!!

VOODOO WOMAN - Giselle D'Arc - "Black Voodoo" (1957)

This is a bar scene in which Yvette the bar maid is sent by the bartender to distract one of the customers, so she does this oh so lovely and seductive song. From the awesome 1957 film, "Voodoo Woman," here is Giselle D'Arc as Yvette doing "Black Voodoo!".

THE CAPE CANAVERAL MONSTERS - Miller/Shane/Savoy - "Radio Static" (1960)

Another film on everyone's top ten list is "The Cape Canaveral Monsters" from 1960. Here's a brief segment involving the car radio in the proverbial "parked car scene" used extensively in the monster movies for years. Listen closely, as this scene has some amazing dialogue! Pretty hard to find any solid information, but I think this is the lineup fading in & out of the scene. "Please Somebody " by Terry Miller, "Love Is The Thing" by Kip Shane, & "Think Of Me"/"I'll Find A Way" by Jerry Savoy. You tell me! Catch it if you can!!

DEMENTIA 13 - Ron Stein & Les Baxter - " John Dies" (1963)

Now we have no idea who is singing the song in the background during the opening of "Dementia 13," but it's a extremely cool and rockin' little tune. Musical credits for the movie go to Ron Stein & Les Baxter, but who's singing that song? If Francis Ford Coppola would like to let us know, please just leave the info in the comments section, thanx! You gotta love the part in the end when John's wife throws the radio in the water! We salvaged it for you, but you still really need to see this movie!

THE FLESH EATERS - Julian Stein - "Here's Omar" (1964)

"What is it, a Martian Hymn?" Yes, that is the question, & only Ray Tudor as Omar, or The Geek have the answer, and they don't appear to be talkin'! The music for "The Flesh Eaters" was done by yet another Stein, Julian this time, and what a cool & sleazy classic it is. We always knew this movie was extra strange, well, try & find out more information about Ray Tudor or Julian Stein. It appears that this movie is about all they ever did. Ray Tudor is credited in one other biker film, "The Sidehackers", but other than that, these people have slipped off the radar as far as we can tell. Omar was a great beatnik character, right up there with Maynard as far as Cool goes! Questions, questions! "Where's the love Mac?"

GHOST OF DRAGSTRIP HOLLOW - Elaine Dupont/Sanita Pelkey/Judy Howard - "He's My Guy" (1959)

Here's an insidious little number from "Ghost Of Dragstrip Hollow," where the girls, Sanita Pelkey, Elaine Dupont & Judy Howard take center stage for the vocals, with The Renegades providing the backup music. The song is called "He's My Guy" & is guaranteed to make you want to go hang yourself after a couple of listens. You can buy the DVD online or you can get some rope at your local hardware store. Your choice! He's My Guy Here's Tabonga's Wallpaper tribute to Sanita in "Missile To The Moon!"

PIANETA DEGLI UOMINI SPENTI (Battle Of The Worlds) - Mario Migliardi - "Opening Theme" (1961)

Not to leave any stone unturned, here's a 1961 presentation from Italian composer Mario Migliardi, giving you his best version of WEIRD SPACE MUSIC OF THE FUTURE, in a movie released in the U.S. as "Battle Of The Worlds."

Here's the opening theme song! Blast off with Battle Of The Worlds

THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH - The Del-Aires - "You Are Not A Summer Love" (1964)

Hope you're not getting tired of The Del-Aires yet, because there is still more to come after this. "You Are Not A Summer Love" is one of the slow dance numbers from "The Horror Of Party Beach", so it's a bit more pensive and removed than their rockin' tunes. This movie is so action packed, they had to find some way to slow down the pace, so.. Everybody out on the floor for the slow dance, & keep your hands above the waist!
This movie is playing in HD on The Monster Channel, catch it if you can!

THE CREEPING TERROR - Frederick Kopp - "Dance Hall Twist/Theme Song" (1964)

How many candidates are there for worst movie ever made? "The Creeping Terror" is at the top of a lot of people's lists, but not ours, because of this great music by composer Frederic Kopp, who didn't do much else besides a couple of "Bonanza" episodes. Don't know why that is, because the cat was really swingin' on this session!! Here's the theme from "The Creeping Terror," the "Dance Hall Twist."

THE ATOMIC SUBMARINE - Joi Lansing-Arthur Franz-Alexander Laszlo - "The Love Scene" (1959)

Atomic Submarine - Love Scene

It's Joi Lansing Night, and the beginning 'love scene' in "The Atomic Submarine" between Arthur Franz & Joi Lansing features some very cool, aka odd, heavenly lounge type music, with some classic dialogue between the two in a weird love/comedy genre. With this beginning, you have no idea where this movie is going, but at least Joi Lansing is in it. "Don't waste one precious moment," Go git yourself a copy now!

HILLBILLYS IN A HAUNTED HOUSE - Ferlin Husky/Joi Lansing/Don Bowman - "It's Jamboree Time" (1967)

EL BARON DEL TERROR (The Brainiac) - Gustavo César Carrión - "Brainiac Mix" (1962)

This Very Strange Mexican movie had a fairly swinging jazzy soundtrack by Gustavo César Carrión, used at best during the hooker killing sequences. Although, the tracks don't stand out individually that much, combined into a mix, it's pretty cool. So here you go, from all the way back in 1962, DJ "El Baron Del Terror" and the "Brainiac Mix."

4D MAN - Ralph Carmichael - "Opening Credits" (1959)

The opening credits from "4D Man" just gives you a taste of what a wild ride you're about to take. This jazzy music is by Ralph Carmichael, who also did the score for "The Blob." The entire soundtrack cooks like there's no tomorrow, and is probably THE best jazz score you'll hear. Swingin'!! Get some!!

FRANKENSTEIN'S DAUGHTER - Harold Lloyd Jr. - "Daddy Bird" (1958)

Don, Suzi's boyfriend, played by Harold Lloyd Jr., was the singer on this party song, "Daddy Bird" written & performed by Page Cavanaugh & The Flattops in "Frankenstein's Daughter." His Dad was the famous comedian from the silent films, Harold Lloyd, so Jr. had a lot going for him, but maybe being in this movie was kind of like giving Daddy the bird. Harold Jr. had a heart attack at age 40, presumably from too much Hollywood. At least we got this much before he moved on!

FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER - Jim Karen - "El Telefono" (1965)

Ever have one of those moments when you just weren't getting your point across, well, here's a perfect example with a short intro, from "Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster" where Dr. Adam Steele needs to use the telephone real bad, glad he didn't need to use the restroom, he would never have got his point across!

LA NAVE DE LOS MONSTRUOS - Consuelo Frank - "Ship Of Monsters" (1960)

Translated as "The Ship Of Monsters," this Mexican film had this one little ditty in it, where the space lady and this dude dance, then they kiss, and then, she tries to shoot him with a raygun. You might need to see it to understand, and I'm not even sure if that's possible.

RIDERS TO THE STARS - Kitty White - "Riders Theme Song" (1954)

Let's have a mighty cheer for Tabonga, who personally went out & found this DVD, so we could present this song to you out there. As Far as we can tell, it's nowhere else to be found, except right here. Kitty White sings the theme song to this amazing 1954 "space viking" saga, "Riders To The Stars." You'll want to go find your own copy now!
