TROLL / Empire Pictures, Altar Productions - 1986

Today I continue with Little Freaks Fridays, this time we have a tale about the wicked Troll King Torok, who's in search of a mystical ring that will return him to his human form. So, he invades a San Francisco apartment complex where a powerful witch lives...

This one stars young Noah (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) Hathaway, Michael (IT'S ALIVE III) Moriarty, Shelley (THE STEPFATHER) Hack, Sonny (HAIRSPRAY) Bono, June (LOST IN SPACE) Lockhart and Brad (BYE BYE LOVE) Hall.

The Troll makes his way to San Francisco where he goes exploring an apartment complex and zeroes in on an interesting room with artwork he identifies with!

June plays the witch Eunice St. Clair, she now has the task of getting rid of the little unwanted pest, and, she takes her work very seriously!

Then, little Wendy Potter is confronted by the stinky old Troll. After that, she joins Eunice in trying to rid the place of the stench...

Eventually, Torok finds the magic ring and he knows how to use it!

Sonny looks like he's in a bit of trouble here! Did you know that Sonny has 159 movie soundtrack credits? That a freakin' lot...

Oh, and, the little sucker has a magic hypno-ball to screw with you!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus also appears in this flick in only her second acting role.

Most of the action involves the Potter family, Michael plays Harry Potter Sr. and Noah plays Harry Potter Jr. Funny in its own way!

Anyway, what are you going to do if this little creep comes to your house?.. Watch the damn movie to find out... So then, Eegah!! will invade this space tomorrow, be there or be...

TEENAGERS BATTLE THE THING - "Curse Of Bigfoot" (1958)

Talk about a Weird Wednesday, well, it doesn't get much weirder than this 1958 feature called "Teenagers Battle The Thing!"

I found after I watched it, that "Teenagers Battle The Thing" was really in colour! I got this copy off of the Internet Archive, so I don't know where the colour is, but what do you want for free?

Obviously from the footage seen here, it doesn't really matter whether it's in colour or not! Colour isn't going to make it any better!

"Teenagers Battle The Thing" was made in 1958, but wasn't ever released to any theaters, but in 1975, the makers decided to give it another chance, so they added about 30 minutes, and released it as a TV movie titled "Curse Of Bigfoot," so it went from just boring to totally boring for an even longer time.

Getting kind of arty with this transition shot of Bigfeet tracks!

This is the first glimpse we get of the monster! Not great, but I've seen worse!

Ivanpah looks like a happening spot!! It's actually Agua Dulce, California!

These are the innocent kids out on a field trip with their teacher!

Don't you know the guy behind the pole was pissed about the angle of this shot!

Wow! Look at this kids, a really olde rock!

The guys leave the two girls behind, and they find a plaque with some writing on it, and when they dislodge it, they find a hole underneath, so they drop down into the hole!

They find this mummy or some kind of petrified form, and somehow manage to get it up and out of the hole in no time at all! Must have been good Boy Scouts!!

Got the body thing stashed, so now it's time to kick back and relax!

But the damn thing comes back to life, escapes, and runs right at the camera!! Maybe he thought it was a 3D movie because he does it a couple of times!

The creature mauls the local Sheriff!

 So, they shoot the sumbitch!

And just to make sure, they douse it with gasoline and torch it with some flares!!

The Sheriff lives through the whole ordeal, and then it's The End, and it couldn't come soon enough for them, or me!! If they cut out all the bullshit, this would actually make a pretty good seven minute movie! If you really want to see for yourself and you have an Amazon Prime account, "Curse Of Bigfoot" streams for free in colour!

The GODZILLA MOVIES Of The SIXTIES

Today we're taking a look at the movies from the sixties featuring that big old fighting fool, Godzilla! There were only two prior movies from the fifties with Big G, GODZILLA, KINGS OF THE MONSTERS (1954) and GODZILLA RAIDS AGAIN (1955) and in both, the big lizard was nothing but a mean machine and there was nothing nice about him, at all... When he returns in the sixties, he actually becomes a good guy so to speak and helps earthlings fight off many tons of bad monsters, some from outer space!! So, put your hands together for our hulking hero!

He finally returns in 1962 in the epic adventure, KING KONG vs. GODZILLA. In this story, a pharmaceutical company captures King Kong and brings him to Japan, where he escapes from captivity and battles Godzilla in an all out monster war! Looks like they're doing some swing dancing in the photo!!

In 1964 he returns in MOTHRA vs. GODZILLA, where, a greedy developer unwittingly hatches a gigantic egg in Tokyo, while Godzilla steps in to battle the giant moth after it hatches.

Although his name doesn't appear in the title, Godzilla is back in GHIDORAH, THE THREE-HEADED MONSTER in 1964. After a meteorite unleashes a three-headed beast near Tokyo, Mothra tries to unite with Godzilla and Rodan to battle the extraterrestrial threat!

Nick Adams stars in GODZILLA vs. MONSTER ZERO from 1965, in this tale, aliens from Planet X request the use of Godzilla and Rodan to fight off King Ghidorah, but they actually have a nefarious use in store for the three monsters.

Next up is GODZILLA vs. THE SEA MONSTER from 1966, here, a young man steals a boat to find his brother, but he and his shipmates become shipwrecked on a mysterious island inhabited by a giant sea monster and a slumbering Godzilla!.. Hey, Tokyo gets a break!

Then we gots one of the strangest Big G offerings with SON OF GODZILLA from 1967. Scientists experimenting with changes in weather patterns on a tropical island get a few surprises when Godzilla shows up to battle humongous insects and protect his little son, Minya!..

DESTROY ALL MONSTERS from 1969 is one of the funnest of all the Godzilla titles... Aliens release all the giant monsters on Earth from their imprisonment in Monster Land and are using them to destroy all major cities. Wow, what a great name, Monster Land! Anyway, it's up to the brave crew of the super rocket ship X-2 to infiltrate the aliens' headquarters before the Earth monsters and King Ghidorah annihilate the planet!!

Okay, GODZILLA'S REVENGE from 1969 IS the nuttiest Godzilla (kid) flick out there! In this story, a bullied schoolboy dreams of traveling to Monster Island, where he befriends Godzilla's son, who is also having bully troubles! Still, lots of fun to watch, from a more innocent time...

Well, that's the post, tons (ha ha) o' fun!! Show up again on Wednesday when Eegah!! will have more Wild Dungeon Cargo for us all...
