Another film on everyone's top ten list is "The Cape Canaveral Monsters" from 1960. Here's a brief segment involving the car radio in the proverbial "parked car scene" used extensively in the monster movies for years. Listen closely, as this scene has some amazing dialogue! Pretty hard to find any solid information, but I think this is the lineup fading in & out of the scene. "Please Somebody " by Terry Miller, "Love Is The Thing" by Kip Shane, & "Think Of Me"/"I'll Find A Way" by Jerry Savoy. You tell me! Catch it if you can!!

DEMENTIA 13 - Ron Stein & Les Baxter - " John Dies" (1963)

Now we have no idea who is singing the song in the background during the opening of "Dementia 13," but it's a extremely cool and rockin' little tune. Musical credits for the movie go to Ron Stein & Les Baxter, but who's singing that song? If Francis Ford Coppola would like to let us know, please just leave the info in the comments section, thanx! You gotta love the part in the end when John's wife throws the radio in the water! We salvaged it for you, but you still really need to see this movie!

THE FLESH EATERS - Julian Stein - "Here's Omar" (1964)

"What is it, a Martian Hymn?" Yes, that is the question, & only Ray Tudor as Omar, or The Geek have the answer, and they don't appear to be talkin'! The music for "The Flesh Eaters" was done by yet another Stein, Julian this time, and what a cool & sleazy classic it is. We always knew this movie was extra strange, well, try & find out more information about Ray Tudor or Julian Stein. It appears that this movie is about all they ever did. Ray Tudor is credited in one other biker film, "The Sidehackers", but other than that, these people have slipped off the radar as far as we can tell. Omar was a great beatnik character, right up there with Maynard as far as Cool goes! Questions, questions! "Where's the love Mac?"

GHOST OF DRAGSTRIP HOLLOW - Elaine Dupont/Sanita Pelkey/Judy Howard - "He's My Guy" (1959)

Here's an insidious little number from "Ghost Of Dragstrip Hollow," where the girls, Sanita Pelkey, Elaine Dupont & Judy Howard take center stage for the vocals, with The Renegades providing the backup music. The song is called "He's My Guy" & is guaranteed to make you want to go hang yourself after a couple of listens. You can buy the DVD online or you can get some rope at your local hardware store. THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH - The Del-Aires - "You Are Not A Summer Love" (1964)

Hope you're not getting tired of The Del-Aires yet, because there is still more to come after this. "You Are Not A Summer Love" is one of the slow dance numbers from "The Horror Of Party Beach", so it's a bit more pensive and removed than their rockin' tunes. This movie is so action packed, they had to find some way to slow down the pace, so.. Everybody out on the floor for the slow dance, & keep your hands above the waist!

THE CREEPING TERROR - Frederick Kopp - "Dance Hall Twist/Theme Song" (1964)

How many candidates are there for worst movie ever made? "The Creeping Terror" is at the top of a lot of people's lists, but not ours, because of this great music by composer Frederic Kopp, who didn't do much else besides a couple of "Bonanza" episodes.
