KOMMISSAR X - DREI BLAUE PANTHER - "Kill Panther Kill" (1968)

"Kommissar X - Drei Blaue Panther" was the third of five Kommissar X movies that had three shades of animals in the title. In 1966, it was Three Yellow Cats, 1967, it was Three Green Dogs, and in 1968, it was this Saturday Night Special feature about Three Blue Panthers. To round it out, there were Three Golden Serpents in 1969, and Three Red Tigers in 1971.

In English, only "The Three Golden Serpents" used that info in the title. This one is close because it at least mentioned a panther, but the titles of the other three are "Death Is Nimble, Death Is Quick," "Death Trip," and "FBI Operation Pakistan."

The people who made these Kommissar X films are smart, and they use locations where they can get cool shots for free. "Kill Panther Kill" was filmed in Canada. A lot of the early footage was shot at the Calgary Stampede, a celebration that has been going on since 1912. These days it's billed as "The Biggest Outdoor Show On Earth," and will open this year on July 8.

This float cracked me up, and all I could think of was............

.............A giant Hostess Snowball!

I just had to include this shot of Miss Pot O' Gold.
Following the parade, they have a huge rodeo, an
event that is still one of the highlights of this ten day celebration!

Brad Harris is Captain Tom Rowland, and Tony Kendall is Jo Walker. They have a complicated relationship. They are like best friends, but they don't like each other getting involved in their business, so they fight and argue a lot. The Captain is from Los Angeles, but he's in Canada working on a case. Jo Walker works for an insurance company, and is trying to retrieve stolen jewelry in the same case.

Austrian born Hannelore Auer has the role of Jo Walker's girlfriend/secretary Betty Rogers. She was also in "Three Golden Serpents" as one of Jo's girlfriends.

In the sixties, Hannelore Auer was a popular singer in Germany. She was married to Austrian prince Alfred von Auersperg for eleven years, and after their divorce, she married German singer Heino, to whom she has been married ever since.

577477 has escaped from jail and is headed back to Canada to get the jewels he left with his twin brother years earlier.

Wow! They had a rocket pack demonstration at the rodeo. Pretty cool for 1968!

Even though he's north of the border, Jo Walker shows up in disguise as somebody from south of the border to try and blend in with the western festivities.

From Calgary, the action moves to Montreal, and a shot of the Biosphere, which was donated to Canada by President Lyndon B. Johnson after the the Expo 67 ended.

Dirty bastard 577477 kills his twin brother, and assumes his identity so he can find out where the jewels are.

Jo Louis Walker, sometimes also known as Kommissar X, starts putting all the pieces together after reading about brothers Cain and Abel in a Bible that a nice lady gave him.

Sometimes they are at each other's throats, and sometimes you just can't separate these two.

Here are the three panthers in question, and inside is the key to the jewels.

You just know that they are going to use each and every object you see in this shot, and indeed they do!

This is what villains see most of the time when they mess with the Captain and the Kommissar!

Somebody finally gets to the location of the jewels, and of course, this is what they find instead, a picture of Kommissar X.

The bottom line is that every Kommissar X film I've seen so far has been fun to watch, and are always full of shots like this!

Not much of a surprise that Jo's got the key!
There's no reason for me to tell you how it all works out, because you can see for yourself right

ALIENS ON THE MOON / The Truth Exposed - 2014

Here's something to chew on, it has to do with strange things photographed on the Moon, either by NASA, the Google Moon Mapping, movies made by astronauts while on the Moon, or Russians orbiting the Moon. These images are thought provoking but I'm not trying to sell anything, decide for yourself. There is also a thing known as pareidolia, where one sees organic images in non-organic objects like rocks, shadows usually playing a part. This is currently the case with the many images coming from the Mars rovers...

We start with this weird Google map image that looks like a giant structure with two lines of seven lights!

This is wild, that ball of unknown origin... It rolled out of a crater and up the hill! Top scientists worked on putting this production together.

From original NASA photos, computers were used to put this scene together of three gigantic items that include (speculation) a nuclear reactor, a canon-like weapon behind the reactor stack and a radar dish, everything you'd need to power a facility, and protect it from invaders.

Here's the radar dish as created by the computer, it is over two miles high and two miles wide. The Moon is a perfect place to build giant structures because the gravity is 1/6th that of Earth.

This is the original NASA photo with a colored base to show the height of the dish.

When the Russians orbited the Moon, they took these photos of a structure on the horizon, and, it's estimated to be 22 miles high! Put that in your pipe!

Here's a colored NASA image showing some sort of odd looking structures including a bridge-like structure, again, gigantic.

Here's the computer image shown from the opposite side of the structures, interesting.

NASA has airbrushed, aka doctored up, lots of images of certain structures on the Moon. Word is, our government doesn't want to show any evidence that would cause chaos amongst the population, leading to lawlessness. I'm mean, if people lose their freaking minds over just wearing a mask during a pandemic, well then, you can see their concern!!

Here's a NASA image showing a giant structure estimated to be over two miles high.

Here's another colored structure photo with a computerized image below it, showing some immense facility spread over miles of  terrain.

This could be my favorite NASA image that shows a giant machine with circular objects that could only be described as wheels!

In the background is a photo taken by Buzz Aldrin while he was on the Moon, the colored area seems to be a huge saucer-like spaceship. When Buzz is asked to comment on the photo, he says that he doesn't want to get involved as to what it is, it's not for him to speculate, he just took the picture... Wow, check out the bling Buzz is wearing. Somewhere, there is a photo of Buzz with me standing next to him when I was an artist at Wonderworks in Canoga Park in 1992, where he was an affiliate.

Then there's this NASA photo that is speculated to be of a spacecraft that is over a mile long. It's on the edge of the shadow there in the center.

On the last trip to the Moon, one astronaut took home movies of this structure.

Inside, they found two mummified beings, one being this nude female.

And they also found a few pieces of  'paper' with what looks like alien writing! But there's the possibility that it was staged all by NASA to detract from some other larger issue, which NASA is known for doing... There you go, hope you enjoyed this little trip to the Moon!

THE STARR-ANGE FILMS OF RICHARD STARKEY (1969 - 1985)

Richard Starkey, or Ringo Starr as we all know him, has had an interesting career besides being one of The Beatles. Ringo has been in quite a few movies, and almost every one of them is a cult movie, because he's Ringo, and all the movies are strange. People might be strange when you're a stranger, but Ringo's not a stranger to anybody, even though he's Starr-anger than most!

In 1964 and 1965, The Beatles made their movies "A Hard Day's Night," and "Help!" but it wouldn't be until 1968 that Ringo appeared in a non-Beatles film as a guy named Emmanuel, and that movie was "Candy."

In 1969, Ringo was in the equally odd film, "The Magic Christian" as Youngman Grand.

In 1971, Ringo plays Frank Zappa in Frank's own film "200 Motels."

Here's a picture of Frank so you can compare the two!

Also in the 1971 Spaghetti Western "Blindman," Ringo plays a character named Candy.

In 1973 Ringo had a more serious role in a film that was kind of based on the early years of John Lennon called "That'll Be The Day" that also included fellow musician Billy Fury. Another famous drummer, Keith Moon of The Who, was also in this film.

Again in 1973, Ringo was Merlin the magician in the Harry Nilsson musical "Son Of Dracula," that included one of the best rock and roll songs of all time, "Jump Into The Fire!"

In 1975, Ringo was in a movie with another member of The Who, lead singer Roger Daltrey, in Ken Russell's "Lisztomania." In this film Ringo plays The Pope.

In 1977, Ringo was in the pervo sex romp "Sextette," that not only starred Mae West, but was written by her. This film also had an all-star cast of musicians that included Alice Cooper, and once again, Keith Moon.

In 1981, Ringo was in "Caveman" with his lovely wife Barbara Bach.

In 1985 Ringo was in the TV mini-series "Alice In Wonderland" as The Mock Turtle.

Since then, Ringo has been the narrator for the "Thomas And Friends" videos, and in quite a few TV shows and music videos, including "The Simpsons," and Sabrina The Teenage Witch," but the long run of Starr-ange movies has pretty much come to an end, at least for now, but this is Ringo we're talking about, so who knows what might be next?
