THE THREE STOOGES / "How High Is Up?" - 1940

In today's story, Moe, Larry and Curly are the 'Minute Menders' who live in their work truck, and sleep under it to save on rent. They decide to drum up some business by punching holes in the unattended lunch boxes of some workmen, so, they'll pay the boys to fix their them, right? When they're caught in the act, they escape and accidentally get hired as riveters on a new building going up, and they'll be working on the 97th floor! Their ineptitude and total lack of workmanship messes up construction on the building, and the boys must parachute off the building to escape the wrath of the boss. This one also stars the wonderful Vernon Dent and Bruce Bennett has a small part too.

Here's the Minute Menders' work truck, just parked there, with the boys asleep under it.

Welp, wouldn't you know it, a water truck comes by and floods the street and the Stooges drift away on their mattress. I love how the people walking down the sidewalk just stop and watch the sheer insanity of the situation! Then a policeman comes along and uses his club to get the boys quickly off the street and get the damn traffic flowing again!

Curly, with the help (?) of Moe and Larry, can't get his freakin' sweater off!..

After getting caught in the act by workers who they had punctured holes in their lunch boxes in order to fix them, our little nimrods escape by darting aimlessly right through that door there! Somehow, the boys end up getting jobs as riveters, ho-boy, get ready for this!!..

Then they find out they'll be working on the 97th floor, almost a thousand feet up in the air!

Okay, Curly gets scared when he looks down, so, Moe simply puts a kerchief over his eyes!!

Larry's the rivet heater upper, but he's cooking sausages, throwing them down to Curly! The foreman comes by so Larry has to start firing up rivets. Natcherly, Curly ends up eating one!

Here's what happens to the foreman after standing under where the Stooges were 'working.'

The boys are very creative when it comes to style, but, watch out for that pail of grease!!

It's a wild ride for Curly to be sure!.. Great shot.

Then the big boss comes by to see the progress on the building... And is nearly knocked off by a mysterious falling object from above!

When the men look up, this is the industrial nightmare they witness!! The boss wants to know how these guys got hired in the first place!

If that wasn't enough, the boss then gets a hot rivet down the back of his shirt! That's IT... Get those guys down from there and throw them out!..

When the men go for them, Curly has his faithful parachute he brought with him, and the Stooges gently float down to their truck and speed away, ready for another adventure!

And, Eegah!! will have another adventure ready to go on Wednesday, here, at The Dungeon!!..

KILL! - "Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!" (1971)

Well, we all need to kill some time, so here's a Saturday Night Special that's loaded to the teeth!
It's a 1971 film called "KILL!"
This movie is insane, way too long, but has some weird moments in it that make it worth watching!

It was released in the U.S.A. as "KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL!"
Seriously, I'm not kidding, because we all know, once just wouldn't be enough!

"KILL" opens with James (Captain Nemo) Mason coming home to his wife, beautiful blonde Jean Seberg, and she is wearing an Afro wig and listening to a 45 of bird calls!
Jean was actually involved with the Black Panther movement in the 60's which makes it even stranger.

In the next scene, she removes the wig, and the cuckoo clock goes off, and that pretty much sets the mood for the rest of the movie, and the rest of  Jean Seberg's short life. Jean was married to the Director and writer of this film, Romain Gary. In 1979 Jean overdosed on barbiturates at the age of 40. The following year, Romain Gary shot himself! Sometimes you just have to wonder!

The uncredited co-star of the movie is this 1965 Plymouth Fury convertible, with third eyes or fog lamps.

I never knew that trampolines were such a big thing in Pakistan. They even have them at the airports!

This is the weirdest bar/club scene since "Fireball Jungle!"

They upped the coolness quotient when they have Memphis Slim performing in the club doing a song he wrote called "Kill!"

At Halloween in Pakistan, this is the goodies the kids come home with!

Wasn't this the cover of a Pink Floyd album?

 Finally, we're getting someplace!

This group of suits is just about to be part of one of the greatest dance numbers ever filmed!

 We said Dance!!!

They all seem to be doing their own thing! These guys are doing The Loco-Motion!

These two are doing The Twist!

This fellow is doing The Shimmy!

A fine example of two dudes doing The Swim!

And last but not least is this pair doing The Mashed Potatoes!

Time to bring in more trampolines for the ending segment!

Now it's time for each and every one of us to do our part!
Help stomp out this virus, stay home and watch stupid shit like this!
This has been a public service announcement!

CAPTAIN Z-RO / "Moon Glow" aka "Adventure In Space" - 1956

In today's TV adventure, Captain Z-RO and his pals encounter a flying saucer from space. They chase it to the Moon in their rocket to find out if it's friendly or hostile...

Captain Z-Ro works in his remote laboratory on Earth, safeguarding mankind and history from impending harm, and, he has a time machine that's not used in this episode.

The Captain and his side-kick Tetro are working in the lab late one night when something catches their eye!

They start tracking what might be a guided missile, and it;s coming right at them!

The Cap'n, Jet and Tetro watch the screen as a flying saucer comes into view. It seems to be toying with them, darting in and out at them repeatedly. Tetro wants the Captain to shoot it down because he thinks it's a threat, but, Captain Z-Ro is being more cautious.

The saucer heads off toward the Moon, so, our gang take off in their rocket and follow it. That's what our guys look like during the takeoff, jeez, I thought they were a little tougher than that!

The Cap'n wouldn't be caught dead in one of those helmets Jet and Tetro have to wear!

They land on the Moon near where the saucer set down...

Captain Z-Ro puts his space suit on and heads off toward the saucer, against the wishes of Tetro, who's sure that the Captain wasn't going to return from the encounter.

Our hero locates the saucer and cautiously goes inside. He speaks with someone on a distant planet, the saucer is unmanned. The voice says that they have studied the Captain's time and space ideas and now they want him to leave Earth and join them in improving the galaxy!..

The Captain forcefully declines the invitation, stating that his duty is to protect Earth!

The alien isn't happy about that but allows the Cap'n to leave the saucer and return to Earth. Then, the saucer takes off, back into space, goodbye!

The Captain is happy he didn't blow the saucer into pieces, a good ending to just another day at the office! We're back tomorrow with more Dungeon Cargo, jus' fer you's!
