LE SPIE UCCIDONO IN SILENZIO - "Spies Strike Silently" (1966)

It's another Wild and Wooly Spy Guy Wednesday in The Dungeon!
Pretty cool poster!!

Honestly, before I started this blog, I had no idea there were so damn many spy and secret agent movies made in the 60's, and I still don't think we're close to the end!

So first off, to get in the mood for "Le Spie Uccidono In Silenzio," aka "Spies Strike Silently," kick back, and have yourself a drink or two!

Then after you've had about three or four strong drinks, take this vision test!

"Le Spie Uccidono In Silenzio" is a film about patterns, and a crazy but very industrious guy named Rashid, who literally wants to take over the minds of every person in the world, one by one!

A lot of it was shot in Lebanon and Turkey!
I like the architecture!

Spying on the spies is not good for your health!

She wasn't the only one to find that out!

The game of "Twister" is always more exciting when a knife is involved!

Pretty good when you can work a knife in the back and a portable phonograph into the same shot!

I've put up a lot of pictures of strange phones on this blog, but I think this one takes the cake!

Anything with this many shifters on it has got to be powerful!

The Mind Control room of the supreme megalomaniac, Rashid!!

It looks to me like this jacket is made of the same material used in the Mind Control room!
Lang Jeffries is Michael Drum!
Lang was another one of those good looking guys from North America who went to Italy to carve out a career. He was in the Chubby Checker feature "Don't Knock The Twist" before he headed overseas! Besides Sword and Sandal and Spy movies, Lang was also the star of "Mission Stardust!"
Lang left this world in 1987 at the young age of 56.

Check out the wheels on the Boss's car! It looks like it's running on two spare tires!
I guess since they were going to destroy it anyway......

She's actually much prettier dead than she was alive!

Andrea (The Witch's Curse, Kriminal, Argoman, Danger: Diabolik) Bosic as Rashid, does his best impersonation of Carl Jaffé!

It's a bit of a gamble, but in my humble opinion,
"Spies Strike Silently" is worth giving a watch if you've got nothing better to do! It's definitely not the worst spy movie I've ever seen!
