THE OUTER LIMITS / The Galaxy Being - 1963

It's Alien Invasion Friday with Tabonga, here at The Dungeon!.. We gots the very first episode from this great series, and, one our whole family watched on Sept. 16, 1963. To kick off the series they got the ever popular Cliff (CHARLY) Robertson to star along with their new sci-fi creation, The Galaxy Being!..

Eegah!! sent over a soundclip with the Master Control Voice and more for your earjoyment, sooooo, you can push the big red 'GO' button there next to the atomic radio tower, NOW, Rufus The Gnat! Here's an earfull of... The Galaxy Being!

Cliff plays Alan Maxwell, owner and radio station operator who contacts a Being in another galaxy while experimenting with his equipment.

Alan has to go to a party and tells this fill-in DJ, whatever he does, do not increase the station's power output!.. Got it?!

The party's for Alan but all he can think about is getting back to the station and communicate with his new buddy from another world.

The dumbass DJ wants to impress his girlfriend by being heard as far away as Canada, so, he turns the power level up all the way... Oops, bad move!!

The power surge causes the Being to become 3-dimentional and it crashes out of the monitor and into the station!

Alan's brother wants him to listen to the weird signal on the radio, causing Alan to rush back to station without telling his wife he was leaving.

And, when Alan's wife hears about his rude disappearance from the party, well, she's had just about enough of his obsession with the scientific method!

Meanwhile, the Being has escaped and is out wandering around the city. This poor security guard has a close encounter of the fourth kind with the thing!

Here's the Being rummaging through a pawn shop he stumbles into.

The military arrives! Very cool shot, I had a model of that vehicle in the fifties.

Alan's wife is accidently shot in the neck by one trooper, but, the Galaxy Being heals her completely before...

He's disolved for disobeying his planet's 'no experimenting' policy!! The soundclip tells you to tune in next week at the same time, when we'll bring you another classic episode of THE OUTER LIMITS starring our pal, Robert Culp, so, you better!.. Be there or be SQUARE!!

DR. WHO - Season 2, Episode 30 - "The Executioners" (1965)

"Dr. Who" is one of the most popular, successful, and long running TV shows of all time! It's my job to remind you that it's out there just in case you forgot, and feel like doing some kind of six month, 24 hour a day marathon any time soon!

This particular episode was part of a series called "The Chase," and was titled "The Executioners!" It aired on May 22, 1965!

Don't you just love it?

"Dr. Who" first aired on November 23, 1963 and then ran 26 seasons straight all the way to 1989! There have been movie spinoffs, and of course the present day version is way popular too!

Just to show you the meager beginnings of what has become a real phenomenon! Doot doo doo doo! TARDIS!!

The first Dr. Who was William Hartnell! William had been acting since 1932, and finished his career with 132 episodes as Dr. Who! What a way to go out! The current version of "Dr. Who" just got finished with it's 11th version of the Doctor as played by Matt Smith, and Series (Season) 8 will be airing the end of this year with Peter Capaldi in the role of the good Doctor!

Jacqueline Hill was Barbara Wright and/or Lexa from 1963 to 1980! I love her extravagant outfit! I just got a new computer a couple of days ago, I know just how she feels!

The mighty men commanding the controls of those evil Daleks were Robert Jewell, Kevin Manser, John Scott Martin, and Gerald Taylor!

The music in "Dr. Who" was created by Dudley (The Tomorrow People) Simpson, and Peter Hawkins and David Graham were the guys who came up with the voice effects for The Daleks! They should win some kind of award for creating the most obnoxious voices ever, and it hardly seems possible, but voice # 2 is even more annoying that # 1! Equalization and Ring Modulation combined with a 30 HZ Sine Wave, that'll do it every time! Dr. WHO is everywhere, go get some!

GLEN OR GLENDA In Color / Screen Classics (II) - 1953

It's another Wild 'n' Weird Monday with Tabonga, here at The Dungeon!.. I like to collect colorized versions of movies because it can make them look fresh and fun to watch again. This nutty little film is no exception, so, enjoy, I threw in a few extra stills as they are super cool! Alternate titles for this movie include I LED 2 LIVES, GLEN OR GLENDA: CONFESSIONS OF ED WOOD, HE OR SHE, MALE OR FEMALE, I CHANGED MY SEX and THE TRANSVESTITE.

Eegah!! sent over a wild little soundclip of some killer rock 'n' roll from this flick, sooooo, you can push the big red 'GO' button there next to the blonde powdered wig and tube of lipstick, NOW, Ralphie The Tarantula! Here's our excellent audio offering for... GLEN OR GLENDA!

You've been warned, kiddies!

Bela gets to chew up a lot of carpet in this one, playing the devil's advocate and all.

Lyle Talbot plays the Inspector, he's called out to investigate a suicide and finds out that the lady's actually a guy. The doc seems to be checking to see what the dude had for lunch!

Here's the murder weapon... You're under arrest!

Ed makes a pretty hot chick!

Love this paste up job, check out the story under that headline!

In America, this hayseed is the epitome of male hunkiness, especially in the south.

In Africa, the male really knows how to attract the girlles! ...Yabba Dabba Doo!!

This looks like a fun sex dream I'd like to have.

Here are two real cross-dressers mentioned in the warning still earlier.

Ed talks to a friend about his problem. The guy he's talking with got divorced after his wife caught him dressed in her clothes... Nice pad!

Ed and Dolores get married, but, Ed ends up telling her his little secret! You can see the devil has joined the ceremony.

Is this a great shot or what?!

Once the devil pops up, the really interesting things start to happen! Nice illusion, but, she's wearing panties!

This hot 'n' horny gal attracts a rapist with a red silk top!

Here's a great shot of Dolores Fuller! Besides being married to Ed, she has 19 soundtrack credits that include songs for Elvis movies! She died in 2011 at age 88.

My hero, makeup artist Harry Thomas, did the wild looking makeup for the devil. Things look teriffic when they're lit correctly!

Awwww.. Phooey!!
