Welcome to our Special 4th Of July Post with Tabonga, here at The Dungeon!.. A lot of people are unaware of the Nazi experiment scenes that were deleted from the final cut of this classic horror flick, so, that's where we come in!
Love the way the title flickers while shown, in fact, this whole film is nothing but creative!
In this deleted scene, Professor Bartell decides to tell Grant and Jan all about the bizarre secret experiments by the Nazis which he continues to work on...
Anyway, Nazis are creating microscopic critters to strip the flesh off people they don't like.
You see, the goal is to dissolve the flesh off as quickly as possible! Here's a male victim.
Alright then, it's time to bring out the nekkid chicks!.. ROLL CALL!!
SALLY!....... As you can see, Sally's a blond and has a cute little bum...
JANET!...... Janet's a brunette with sexy tan lines and a very nice caboose...
You'll notice that things don't turn out too well for these gals! Tune in tomorrow for Eegah!!

POJECT: POTEMKIN - "Duty Bound" (2014)
This job doesn't come with a lot of perks, but we've made contact with a lot of cool people over the years, and every once in a while we'll get something special in the mail, and that's where tonight's feature comes into play! Welcome to Wednesday down in The Dungeon and a very special project, by a bunch of special people!
"Project: Potemkin" is going to be a two part post for me! The first part is an 8 minute introductory to The Project! "Do you measure up to what you aspire to be?"
"Project: Potemkin" was sent to me by a very industrious cat named Randall Landers, and from what I see, it's not based upon "Star Trek," it's based on a love for "Star Trek!"
That "Star Trek" love comes on pretty strong! "Project: Potemkin" is a self-admitted fan made "Star Trek" series! For the real lowdown, head on over to their website, and be prepared to see talent persevere over expense accounts! These people do it because they love it, they have a good time, and it shows!
And the cool thing is that while they are having a good time, they are very serious about what they are doing at the same time!
The music in "Project: Potemkin" was written by Steve Gallant! The theme was written by Andrew Morgan Smith!
I'm not sure what the exact budget for this project was, because I don't think they had one at all, but what they were able to accomplish with no backing is pretty damn amazing!
Jeffrey Green has the role of Captain Alec Grigory! I like his delivery! Unlike some fan projects, a lot of these fans like Jeffrey, are also legitimate actors!
How do you get special effects like this without any money? Sweat and innovation!!
Randall Landers' daughter Kim as the Navigator is the only person who gets killed in this attack!
Sara Higgins Mackenzie is Yeoman Ziandra Yanari, Trill! Nobody called her up to bat, but she steps up to the plate and hits a home run!
The Captain doesn't understand how this meek and uncompelling creature could just take over and save the day! Is it because she has ants running across her face!?!
Wow! Great looking shot of the spacecraft!
Deep down inside, the Captain is glad she saved the day, but as Captain he still feels compelled to chew her ass out for not following official protocol!
Okay, so that was just a teaser, I'll be back on Saturday to finish up my "Project: Potemkin" saga with a full-length episode called "The Night The Stars Fell From The Sky!" Until then, Shalom!!

Showing the back of the DVD case is a lot easier than writing out all the credits!

SAYONARA JUPITER / TOHO Entertainment - 1984
It's the last day in June with Tabonga, here at The Dungeon!.. We gots a little known 2010 (the movie) style Toho production with awesome special effects and miniatures. At 140 minutes though, it probably goes on longer than necessary and has Space Hippies frolicking at the beach in their bikinis and such! The story goes like this.. On Mars in the year 2140, while extracting water from the polar ice caps, ancient carvings are uncovered showing alien spacecraft crashing into Jupiter, postponing Earth's plan to turn Jupiter into a second Sun. The film was released on my birthday in 1984, also known as BYE BYE JUPITER.
Eegah!! sent over a little soundclip from this movie, sooooo, you can push the big red 'GO' button there by the jar of Jupiter jelly, NOW, Ralphie The Tarantula! Here's our audio offering for... SAYONARA JUPITER!
Okay then, let's get things rolling.. along... Hey, it looks like this still got turned upside down in Photoshop or something!.. What gives?!!
Now, here a WTF?! shot for you!! Looks like the spaceship pilots in the future have it dicked!
Shots like this really show the level of perfection attained by this amazing special effects team!
Yes, there's sex in space too, enhanced by sensual futuristic technology, naturally!
There are some nice 'hippie' tunes to be heard, you can pick this interesting flick up for about $10, used, on Amazon.
To start Jupiter's change into a new Sun, the two lovers man a mission to fly into Jupiter's atmosphere!
More fantastic shots as the couple fly through the Jupiter sky! Sadly, lightning hits the ship and they plummet to their deaths. Top pic shows giant craft the ship in the bottom pic is dropped from for the deep probe.
Another mission also fails, this one due to a black hole!
Then, the third mission ends in total disaster!..
But, ultimately, gets the job done and Jupiter comes to life as our solar system's second Sun!
The people at space command salute their fallen comrades. Tune in Wednesday when Eegah!! will present our first post for July...
