Tonight's Wild Wednesday madness is a 1954 film called
"Dangerous Mission!"
"Dangerous Mission!"
The fact that it's in Technicolor gives it a wow factor for sure!
As you can well see, "Dangerous Mission!" has got an all-star cast!
"Dangerous Mission!" was the fourth film produced by the Master of Disaster, Irwin Allen!
It was also released in 3-D!

Some dirty business goes down and gets witnessed in the big city!
It's rare, but it actually looks like this here today too!
The whole film switches to Glacier National Park for a unique setting!
William (The Life of Riley) Bendix is the park ranger named Parker of all things!
Everything about this film seems like a time capsule from 1954, the colors, the clothes etc!
Vincent Price shaved off his mustache for this one and has what appears to be a much more milquetoast role that most of his others. Victor (Hannibal) Mature is the cop out looking for the killer!
It's just fun to see Vinnie dressed up in a cowboy outfit!
The main ladies in the film are Betta St. John and Piper Laurie!
Since it's an Irwin Allen film, there are a couple of disasters. The first one is an avalanche!
Absolutely beautiful scenery abounds!
The second disaster is a large forest fire!
Vinnie turns out to not be a nice guy at all!
In fact, he's a real creep when he shows his true colors!
And he's also a liar of immense proportions!!
To escape they have to try and hike out of the park over a glacier!
It looks like it's freezing cold, and they manage to walk what seems like miles in a matter of minutes!
Don't worry, Vinnie gets what's coming to him!
Good movie! Catch it when you can!
