SOUNDPROOF & GREATEST SCIENCE FICTION HITS LP's with "Forbidden Planet" style covers!

It's an off night, so here's a closer look at two items that I have on EeBay!! I have to plug these two LP's because they're images everybody's probably seen on the Internet, but it's not exactly often you get a chance to own one, and these are pretty decent copies!!! Here's a real short sample of the magic madness of Ferrante & Teicher on "Soundproof!" Spanish space electro-onisism! Right on!!Here's "Cumana"!!!

This LP actually featured one of the composers featured on this site many, many times, the phenomenal Les Baxter producing, arranging and playing keys 1979 style!! Here's a short sample entitled, "GODZILLA!! These folks are all deeply indebted forever to Louis and Bebe Barron for the music from "Forbidden Planet!" Not to mention the fact they both used United Planets Cruiser C-57D landing on Altair's 4th planet for their cover image!!

TEENAGE MILLIONAIRE - Jimmy Clanton (1961)

And now for something a little bit different! Not scary or Sci-Fi but a psychotronic musical fantasy for sure, "Teenage Millionaire" is like a 1961 Dodge Dart with a push-button transmission, you don't really want to own one, but it's fun to drive at least once!! So, right now, here's Jimmy Clanton singing the theme to "Teenage Millionaire" especially for you!!!

The movie is in black and white, but the music is in colour, go figure!!

Pretty swank digs with former boxing great Rocky Graziano and Jimmy chillin' by the pool!

"Teenage Millionaire" featured music from some of the top hitmakers of the day, like Jackie Wilson, Chubby Checker, Dion, the Bill Black Combo and Marv Johnson. In a desperate attempt to establish new talent out of nowhere 1961 style, they tried to promote two other artists by the names of Vicki Spencer, and Jack Larson. Needless to say, Jack and Vicki's career's went nowhere except right about here!!
