Beside "Screaming Skull," Austrian composer Ernest Gold also did an enormous array of music including the music for the 1956 TV series cartoon "The Gerald McBoing-Boing Show." Besides cartoons he composed music for a number of crime drama, war, and western TV and movie titles. Very prolific & a master of creating a mood for any occasion, did I forget to mention he also composed the music for "Exodus," "Inherit The Wind," & "On The Beach." Pretty heavy credentials for the late 50's & early 60's without a doubt! The beautiful and voluptuous Peggy Webber plays Jenni Whitlock magnificently & really makes this film! Here's"Screamin' Skull."

CRIMINALI DELLA GALASSIA ( The Wild Wild Planet) - Angelo Francesco Lavagnino - "Main Theme" (1965)
Funny, this actually is a wild movie, in more than one sense. One of those movies that is stupid & brilliant all at the same time. Composer Angelo Francesco Lavagnino and star Tony Russel both had prior experience on "Zorro" movies, and Angelo's resume is almost never ending, having worked on Numerous "Hercules" movies, and a host of spy, war and space films. If you like bizarre & kitsch in perfect harmony, you are in for a treat, and you're going to like "The Galaxy Criminals," which is yet another great name for this very interesting flick from 1965.

BIJO TO EKITAININGEN (The H-Man) - Martha Miyake - "So Deep Is My Love" (1958)
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, step right up, for it's our pleasure to present you, from the 1958 more than classic movie "Bijo to Ekitainingen" or "The H-Man" in English, "So Deep is my Love" as performed by the lovely Martha Miyake with some help from the same wailing saxes that were in the other club scene. This song is deep and it's a downright sin that in a modern society, music & movies like this aren't all part of common knowledge, because "Bijo to Ekitainingen" definately has one of the coolest soundtracks ever, and on top of all that, it's almost impossible to find a copy. Masaru Satô who did the rest of the music for this movie also was the composer for the music in, what else? "Godzilla Vs. The Sea Monster!" That sure puts him right there at the top of our list!

Mosura Island, with Pair Bambi once again doing the honors to Mothra.
And here's the return music for Ebira, "Look, the giant claw!!" Enjoy it for what it is! The guitar work is phenomenal, especially at the end!
This is still The favorite movie around here for 2007! Don't know what to say, it's just too good on multiple levels! Mandatory viewing for all!! "Okay, that's all!"

FURANKENSHUTAIN TAI CHITEI KAIJU BARAGON (Frankenstein Conquers The World) - Akira Ifukube - "Three Parties" (1965)
In "Frankenstein Conquers The World" the first little music scene involves Frankie watching an "American Bandstand" type show on TV and he's digging watching the kids dance, til some guy gets his face all up in the camera & screams!
F R E A K O U T !!!!!
The second happening party scene is taking place on this Party Boat, when Frank shows up from under the water, and he's a lot bigger now!

IL MOSTRO DI VENEZIA (The Embalmer) - Marcello Gigante - "Main Theme" (1965)
"The Embalmer" is not an easy guy to like & his theme music will beat you into the ground like you were just in the worst traffic jam you've ever been in, or had a bad nightmare about in your life! It will wear you out, and we're pretty sure the Italian composer, Marcello Gigante, might have been under the influence of formaldehyde during the composition of this music. You be the judge!

IL BOIA SCARLATTO (The Bloody Pit Of Horror) - Gino Peguri - "A Bloody Mess Mash" (1965)
Well, here's another one only the truly depraved might be able to appreciate, but that's okay, however many of you are out there (Tom), this one's for you!!! We could give you ever minute of music & show you every still from "The Bloody Pit Of Horror," but you're still going to miss out unless you go and find a copy of this film for your very own. They'll probably be illegal someday anyway! Remember, "It's no fun being dead!" and that's right! Oh, Yeah, Great music beyond compare!
Bloody Opus!
I am the Crimson Executioner, If I swing my upper torso around just enough, these chains will look really tough like real metal! Come and get your love, Ooh, Ooh!
You gotta give Mickey Hargitay giant kudos for doing a helluva good job of looking like the perfect Pomegranate Phantom! And just for kicks, here's a couple more neat scenes with some Bloody Cool Music!!!
