Mexican funny-guy, El Clavillazo (ANTONIO ESPINO), is in love with Beatriz (EVANGELINA ELIZONDO), a seamstress. Meanwhile at a nearby castle, a mad scientist named Dr Sputnik and his hunchbacked assistant are busy making monsters! The doctor uses hypnosis to lure Beatriz to his castle where she believes that she is his lover named Galatea. El Clavillazo blunders his way into the castle, where he's chased around by a bunch of Universal monsters. There's the Frankenstein-like butler, GERMÁN ROBLES as a Vampire, a Werewolf, a Mummy, and a Gill Man!
Here's our hero, Clavillazo, he's always happy about something. I love the super schlock Sc-Fi movie CONQUISTADOR DE LA LUNA where he fights off a big slimy Eyeball in a plastic case!
So, across town, Dr. Sputnik is merrily at work on his hobby, making Monsters in his mad lab with all his buddies!!..
The doctor plays a blind man to get close to Beatriz, he's attracted to her and hypnotizes her to do his bidding. He takes her to his castle to keep her in tow.
Clavillazo and two of his pals get wind of the kidnapping and locate the mysterious castle.
You have to say the password to get in. Frankie guards the door. In the lab, Sputnik is really getting into Beatriz's head!
Our stupidly clever hero gets in the door by hiding in a coffin that gets brought in for the doctor to use the body inside for his experiments. Then, he goes directly to the basement, where all the action is!
Clavillazo gets to meet the Werewolf, and then the moldy old Mummy!
Mon-Ster Roll Call, Sound Off NOW!
GILL, MAN!
WEREWOOF!
FRANKIE-9!
A DRACULA!
Check it out!.. Clavillazo does that thing we used to do back in the day to gross out the girls. Well, Dracula gets scared too!
Anyway, Clavillazo and Beatriz are caught in a deadly trap... Question is, can those three idiot friends figure out how to stop the crushing and poking before someone gets killed?!! Tune in tomorrow when we'll be back with more crushing and poking, just for you!

The Gill Man looks a lot like the ones in Larry Buchanan's films "Creature of Destruction" and "It's Alive." But I doubt it was borrowed from him, and besides, this movie is earlier than either of those.
