A BUCKET OF BLOOD - "Aware" (1959)

In 1959's "Bucket Of Blood," Walter Paisley spends a lot of time in the local Beat hangout, where folk music & poetry reigned supreme! Here's a piece that highlights both. Be aware or be square!

GAMERA THE INVINCIBLE - Artie Butler - "Gammera's Theme" (1966)

Ooh, Ooh, A Big Turtle with tusks, Scary! Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da...Gamera!!! It's 1966, & here's "Gamera The Invincible."
Sounds an awful lot like the Batman theme to me!!!

GHOST OF DRAGSTRIP HOLLOW - Jimmy Madden - "Tongue-Tied" (1959)

How did Jimmy possibly escape fame & fortune? I don't know, but get ready to go insane, because this tune will definately drive you nuts!! If it gets lodged in your brain, it's not my fault, blame it on the ghost! From the 1959 classic "Ghost Of Dragstrip Hollow," they brought Jimmy out for this one song! "And bow's ahout a little kiss" Get it?? Ca-razy!

FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER - The Poets - "That's The Way It's Gotta Be" (1965)

Now this is a Great song!! From 1965's "Frankenstein Meets The Space Monster," this is a Bob Crewe Production by The Poets, "That's The Way It's Gotta Be." This movie is SO bad & this song is so Cool. Watch Out, this song will get stuck in your mind way after you've forgotten about the horrible make-up on the aliens in this flick. Go Rent the Movie to enjoy the whole ordeal!

THE ANGRY RED PLANET - Paul Dunlap - "Sound Clip No Longer Available" (1960)

To get this whole thing rolling, Let's start at the end with this little ditty from 1960, the ending credits of "The Angry Red Planet." This song is all over the place just like this blog is going to be, seems like I'm even hearing "The Jetsons" theme song in places. Paul Dunlap, whose credits also include the music from at least 4 "Three Stooges" movies, both "Teenage Frankenstein" & "Teenage Werewolf" and a host of others, does a fantastic job. Enjoy, & go out & buy or rent the DVD!!
