HAND OF DEATH - WASP WOMAN - Big Dogs-Small Roles

Not really so much about music, but just the fun of interesting people in small roles; here we have Joe Besser, AKA Curly Joe of "The 3 Stooges," a big guy in a very small role, in a fairly small film, & it's a very surreal scene. When funny guys that you are very familiar with are suddenly very serious, and maybe even get killed, it's always extra weird, and what exactly does he mean when he says "Is there anything else I can do for you?" Like what Joe??!! John Agar really does look mad!!!

And then you have Frank Wolff, who, although not as bright a star as Joe Besser, still did have the lead role in "Beast From Haunted Cave" & went on to have a major career in Italy! In this small bit of comedic relief in "Wasp Woman," Frank is quite lecherous & almost stoogelike funny himself. Great stuff, and as a bonus, you get Barboura Morris in the background, even if she is just sitting there! Frank Wolff

I have enjoyed your blog!

Steve Buscemi is the new John Agar; and that gorgeous typist is gorgeous. The guy in the coveralls hasn't got a chance.

I always thought the secretaries in WASP WOMAN were but a pale percusor of the bitchy drag shows featuring dissolute queens you would later see on cable TV --
