THE LANDING / Joe 'Sorko' Schovitz - Monster Kid Home Movies - 1982?

So, here's another Monster Kid Home Movie to chew on... This time we gots space ships, an unearthly alien landscape, a giant monster and some stop motion animation. All done by a freakin' Monster Kid, with over two minutes of action!

I've been 'watching' a lot of movies lately (while I work), and why not, stuff like BRAIN EATERS, THE THING THAT COULDN'T DIE, FIEND WITHOUT A FACE, CURSE OF THE DEMON, NOT OF THIS EARTH, I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTER SPACE, CALTIKI, ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS, TEENAGE FRANKENSTEIN, FRANKENSTEIN'S DAUGHTER, CAPE CANAVERAL MONSTERS, TOBOR THE GREAT, THE TINGLER, THE THING, INVISIBLE INVADERS, etc.

Anyway, we start with a huge spaceship being animated through space, Nice model, for a kid!

Then we see a smaller shuttle exit from the mother ship.

And it heads for an alien planet...

So, the shuttle lands on the surface of the planet, which would remind you of a fish tank. It's actually pretty cool looking, especially for, you know, a kid.

This big thing shows up and is curious about the shuttle. It doesn't seem very friendly!

It walks over to the ship and grabs the bay door!

And, it tears the crap out of the ship, mission fail... Kind of a short class today, see you tomorrow when Eegah!! gets to call the shots, here at The Dungeon!!..
