It seems Neil Sedaka's amazing hit career was waning, so probably out of some desperation move, he agreed to do this song for "Sting Of Death" in 1965. Millie Small had come out with "My Boy Lollipop" only a year earlier in 1964, so this was actually quite an early use of the ska rhythm for an American song, and is quite contagious, but how many things CAN you rhyme with jella?? Now this is really a film you have to see to believe!!!
