I FANTASTICI 3 $UPERMEN - "The Three Fantastic Supermen" (1967)

Tonight's Saturday Night Special is the epitome of the Italian 7G school of filmmaking!

"I Fantastici 3 $upermen" or "The Three Fantastic Supermen," is a movie about two crooks and one F.B.I. agent who are going to have to save the world from an evil sumbitch with a machine that can duplicate anything including gold, money, and people, but there's only one problem, there's usually some defect or another!

The three supermen, Aldo (The Wild Wild Planet) Canti, Brad (King Of Kong Island) Harris, and Tony (Kommissar X) Kendall don't really have any super powers, but what they do have are bulletproof suits, suction cup and/or spring loaded boots, and a combination of fighting and circus skills above reproach!

As far as the 7G's go, first off you've got GUYS, like muscle man Brad Harris!

If one of Brad isn't enough for you, how about three?

Do the Stomp!

Number 2 is GIRLS!

Lots and lots of pretty girls!

Number 3 is GUNS!

"Don't move or I'll shoot you!"

Number 4 is a twofer, GADGETS......

.....And GIZMOS!

Number 5 is GOLD!

Number 6 is GAGS!

And number 7 is pure GROOVIE-NESS!

And if that ain't enough, the portly, disgusting, child killing villain is named
GOLEM!

And if you don't believe me, you can check it out for yourself, because "I Fantastici 3 $upermen"streams in it's entirety on YouTube!

  1. This looks hilarious!

NOTE: a control panel at the bottom of the photo with the caption '...And GIZMOS!' looks like a panel swiped from the Mario Bava film PLANET OF THE VAMPIRES, also an Italian flick from the 1960s! Coincidence? I think not! ;)

  2. As is obvious from the screencaps, this flick has to be seen to be believed. I've read that the really weird hyper good guy was a lifelong gangster.
