NIGHTMARE CITY / Dialchi Film, Lotus Films - 1980

I believe this is one of Lord Litter's favorite movies to watch over and over, so, here we go! The story goes like this... In a nameless European city, a local reporter and his doctor wife try to escape from hordes of blood thirsty zombies exposed to nuclear radioactivity. At the same time, the military leaders fight a losing war of attrition against the relentless atomic undead.

Some of the alternate titles are CITY OF THE WALKING DEAD, INCUBO and INVASION OF THE ATOMIC ZOMBIES.

Things get started when a cargo plane arrives at the airport, the military is there to greet the plane, what's the problem? Our hero is on the right, he's there to cover the news...

When the door is opened, a pile of zombies charge out and start attacking soldiers left and right, I mean, the damn things even know how to use weapons!!

Time out to check out these beautiful shapely dancers! Man, those Europeans really know how to get your attention, one way or another!

Back at the ranch, things aren't as safe as they seem!

This pic cracks me up, that zombo is pretty damn thirsty for some good old Clamato!

Love the colors in this shot, it's almost psychedelic!

When our hero and his wife stop to use a restroom, they notice their car is surrounded by a number of zombies sharing drinks and snacks... WTF! It's a comedy now?!..

This military dude end up blowing the head off his artist wife!!

Holy Shit!!.. I thought so, that's freakin' Steve Bannon there with a Russian sickle!..

So, the crazies are chasing our couple up a roller coaster at a theme park. As the zombies close in on them, our hero shoots them in the head, the best way to kill a zombie, right?!

A helicopter comes to the rescue and our couple climb the rope to escape the zombies. But, wifey falls to her death!!

Wait a minute, it was nothing but a freaky nightmare!!.. Whew!!

Our hero then gets up and goes to the airfield to cover the landing of a cargo plane, and, guess what?.. Join us again on Wednesday when The Dungeon just keeps rolling along!
