Martine Beswick was in two classic cat fights, with Aliza Gur in From Russia With Love, and with Raquel Welch in One Million Years B.C.
ReplyDeleteI liked Stefanie Powers as The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., and Yvonne Craig as Batgirl, but Mary Ann Mobley was cute, and she would have been good in either part. Yvette Mimieux was super-cute, too.
In that beach movie where she played the nerdy girl, Raquel had a big pair of...glasses.
I'm glad you mentioned "The Monitors." I've always been so attached to it that in SOME ways, I think of it as "the" Sherry Jackson role. (Plus, she's very entertaining in it, like everyone else.)
ReplyDeleteJill St. John was also very good in THE LIQUIDATOR (a much lighter spy movie than the title suggests). She and Rod Taylor made a very attractive couple in it, and she made a very convincing "Swinging ' 60s" English girl.
ReplyDeleteOh, Yeah! If I was doing my job right, I'd probably list all the movies these gals were in, but there are just too many, and I'm just too lazy to do all that!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of The Liquidator, Gabriella Licudi was hot, too.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful women, so little time.
Er... not to nit-pick but that second picture of Mary Ann Mobley is actually Stephanie Powers (who we all know got the part of the Girl From U.N.C.L.E.)
ReplyDeleteBut I love your list of these bevy o' beauties -- it's funny how our childhood sci-fi/horror/thriller movies and TV shows always seem to attract these beautiful actresses. We would have watched these movies anyway but having the pretty ladies in them was a bonus...
Jeez, I thought she looked funny in that photo! That's not nit-picking! That's just fact D-A! You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to identify all these great gals, and sometimes the internet is not always right if you're not paying attention! My fondness for Tequila probably doesn't help any either! Thanx for not calling me an idiot!
