DEATH CURSE OF TARTU - Al Jacobs - "Tartu Dance" (1966)

Meanwhile, back in the swamp, we still got kids dancing & guys getting tossed in the water, before they get killed. Try and find some more information on the music from this scene! Good luck! It's probably another Neil Sedaka variation, but really, it sounds a lot like Joe "King" Carrasco & The Crowns, The King of Tex-Mex Rock & Roll, if ya'll need some kind of reference point. This is a pretty good upbeat song, a bit ahead of it's time, that is definitely worthy of a title, maybe "Joe Joe"? Once again, clear up the mystery & get yourself a copy!

  1. How about posting the Indian chanting when Tartu falls in the quicksand? Needle drops and scratches and all?
