THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH - The Del-Aires - "Zombie Stomp" (1964)

It's still Summertime, so back to the beach we gotta go for another awesome rocker from "The Horror Of Party Beach." The Del-Aires are still there wailing away, this time on "The Zombie Stomp." This band and this song should have been destined for the top of the heap, because it just doesn't get any better!! Sometimes you just can't get it!

  1. Like hell this was shot in the summertime! Look at all those oppressive gray skies!

  2. Greg, Horror of Party Beach was filmed in New York. (That's why the ocean is on the right.) That's pretty nice weather for New York. Writer/Director Del Tenney was a serious stage actor who one day decided to become an exploitation filmmaker.

Actually, to my knowledge, it's the only beach movie shot in New York. I think that's why the beach babes are so much more attractive and interesting than all those cookie-cutter California girls. Most of 'em were off-Broadway actresses looking for a paying gig.

Just found your blog recently, Eegah! & Tobanga! (Hmm... maybe I should change my handle to Matango!) Thanks for this. This is one of my favoritis -- the Del Aires did another number in this movie, didn't they? Any plans to put it up?

  5. @ HOWARD

Close but no cigar. It wasn't filmed in New York, it was filmed in Stamford Connecticut

  6. Hey guys, all the links you have posted to MP3 files seem to be missing. What's the haps?

I\m looking for the complete version of THE ZOMBIE STOMP as it appeared on glorious vinyl. The version in the film is cut to hell.

  7. Well, Sid, to avoid problems, we can only leave the soundclips up 30days, and this post is at least 3 years old. We have been known to re-upload files by request! The Zombie Stomp in question wasn't off the vinyl, but pieced together from the film! Keep on rockin'!!
