The way he smashes the mirror in his bedroom in frustration after looking at body building magazines, Murdering Billie Whitelaw after she attempts to put her hand on his widgey, and the the books Haley Mills discovers about sexual psychology - "Psychopathia Sexualia" suggests he doesn't quite measure up shall we say

Great film with solid performances from all. A very thought provoking story line apart from the red herring about downs syndrome (Why did they need to include that ? maybe to generate controversy ?) Herr Herrmann did not contribute to Frenzy though, after he and Hitch had had an unpleasant parting-of-the-ways over the score for Torn Curtain.Douglas McEwannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5825429179234380868.post-90555245334991909682011-11-03T12:39:55.323-07:002011-11-03T12:39:55.323-07:00In the post, I didn’t get too involved as to why T...In the post, I didn’t get too involved as to why TWISTED NERVE is so hard to see today. The whole film is based on the flimsy premise that “Mongolism” – yes, that was the term they used before “Down’s syndrome,” – as the cause of Bennett’s psychosis! Now, everyone knows that Down’s syndrome is a developmentally disabled condition that DOESN’T turn people into homicidal maniacs! The psychology at work here is almost as embarrassing as THE BAD SEED’s theory involving “inherited evil.”Greg Goodsellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05343214060829373283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5825429179234380868.post-52598452526002188942011-11-03T07:29:30.308-07:002011-11-03T07:29:30.308-07:00Hi Mr. Banane, I saw it on an Army base.Hi Mr. Banane, I saw it on an Army base.TABONGA!noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5825429179234380868.post-4378267946308166522011-11-02T22:51:42.825-07:002011-11-02T22:51:42.825-07:00great music..and familiar too, which leads me to be...great music..and familiar too, which leads me to believe I've seen this film ..somewhere..somehow.Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01165402182512034384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5825429179234380868.post-59099807530213551972011-11-02T22:32:50.900-07:002011-11-02T22:32:50.900-07:00With us in Germany this film has not appeared once...With us in Germany this film has not appeared once again.
