Welcome to our Special 4th Of July Post with Tabonga, here at The Dungeon!.. A lot of people are unaware of the Nazi experiment scenes that were deleted from the final cut of this classic horror flick, so, that's where we come in!
Love the way the title flickers while shown, in fact, this whole film is nothing but creative!
In this deleted scene, Professor Bartell decides to tell Grant and Jan all about the bizarre secret experiments by the Nazis which he continues to work on...
Anyway, Nazis are creating microscopic critters to strip the flesh off people they don't like.
You see, the goal is to dissolve the flesh off as quickly as possible! Here's a male victim.
Alright then, it's time to bring out the nekkid chicks!.. ROLL CALL!!
SALLY!....... As you can see, Sally's a blond and has a cute little bum...
JANET!...... Janet's a brunette with sexy tan lines and a very nice caboose...
You'll notice that things don't turn out too well for these gals! Tune in tomorrow for Eegah!!

Movie is still cool... and Jay Robinson was a good mad scientist....!!!!
Let's hear it for "Dr. Shrinker".... the early years....
Happy 4th erom the "Crypt"....
Hi Greg, and, thanks Doc..
ReplyDeleteWow! I had no idea that there was unseen footage! This is one of my favorites with Martin Kosleck as the loony Nazi doctor. Thanks for sharing! (And where did you find this footage?)
ReplyDeleteHi Randall, the DVD is produced by Dark Sky Films, $5.33 new on Amazon, has deleted sequence, outtakes and trailers, what a deal!
ReplyDeleteOh, come *on*! There are much more interesting screen grabs to be had from the Dark Sky DVD!
ReplyDeleteiain - some of the segments looked a little blurry to me so I used the clearest ones..
ReplyDeleteall the footage from this turkey should be 'unseen'.
ReplyDeleteI saw this movie at a Drive-In with my father. The Nazi experiment scenes were in the original. They are important to the movie, and should not have been removed.
ReplyDeleteI saw this in a theater in northern Minnesota in 1964. The deleted Nazi experiment scene was in that release. The scene was cut in the 1968 release, very likely to get under the "R" rating bar from the new motion picture rating system.
ReplyDeleteWe also got a packet of "blood" at the theater to fend off any flesh eaters we might encounter. It was red liquid in a ketchup packet, basically. We had 2 of them, my brother and i got one each when we bought our ticket. 😂
Thanks for the cool info and story. Never heard about the packet of 'blood' before.
